PM tool consolidation to its own Product Studio

Gage Hollen, writing on the Allstacks blog, argues that AI has collapsed product management's traditional stage-and-handoff structure into three fused jobs: discovery-prioritization-definition, design-validation-build, and launch-measurement-iteration, because building has become cheap enough that prototypes can substitute for specs. The tool table that follows recommends Gong, Jira Product Discovery, Lovable and PostHog among others, but repeatedly steers toward Allstacks' own Product Studio as the connective layer, which is where the piece tips from analysis into pitch. Its one outside data point, credited to Product Circle research, is sharper than the rest: 87.7% use AI coding tools and 85.4% use AI for product work, yet only 17.5% say it moved the needle on strategic planning and roadmapping, against 50.2% for engineering and 45.3% for design. That gap, rather than the tool list, is the actual finding worth sitting with.
